In dance, conflicts are seen as possibilities. This approach forms the methodological basis of all parts of this project.

What moves? How does it move? Why does it move?

In the dance process, we learn how to examine and question physical blockages or inconsistencies so that the physical conflict can be resolved and the flow of movement freed. This complexity grows in partner or group work. An understanding of one's anatomy and body functionality is needed to maintain flexibility, discover answers, gain different perspectives of an existing situation. The ability to view conflict as a place of possibility is what distinguishes dancers.

Our research, improvisation, movement exploration, as well as a sound percussion and expression, provides versatile experiences in physical thinking to gather new movement perspectives and discover common principles.

The project is produced fully through the support of our Projektstipendien 3b Phase awarded after application, to SOZO visions in motion e.V.

The original idea to create a live performance was not possible due to the Pandemic situation. With our group of non professionals we gained insight and connection to a generation of young adults discovering dance (for some of them for the first time). During the process we had also documented material and interviews which fed into a documentary film of thoughts behind "thinking together physically". The project MANY took a new turn to make a short film with the professional dancers of SOZO visions in motion DANCE Co. - Big kids!
